Technical Project Manager

 

Ozmosis is looking for a creative and organized Technical Project Manager to join our fast-growing team. We're making healthcare social, and we need a project manager with software development experience to help turn ideas into successful customer product launches. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing customer projects including project planning, requirements gathering, product management and customer communication.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships to ensure successful project outcome 
  • Create and maintain project plans for customer implementation and product development
  • Coordinate with customer and internal teams to manage implementation and go-live process
  • Document and prioritize business and functional requirements
  • Create wireframes, functional design documents, and technical specifications
  • Interact with the software development and user interface design teams to answer functional questions, review designs, test new features and ensure timely completion of project milestones
  • Drive product decisions by organizing and incorporating user feedback, analytics, and client input
  • Ensure quality through writing and executing test cases 
  • Run weekly reports by accessing our web service and conducting SQL queries

Qualifications

  • A technical background / strong understanding of web technology
  • At least 1 year of experience as a product or project manager
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development or as a technical business analyst

  • A positive attitude and interest in working in a team-based, highly dynamic environment
  • Strong interest in using creativity to solve a wide variety of problems on a daily basis

Front-End Developer

The ideal candidate will have strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery skills, experience translating conceptual wireframes, PSDs and prototypes into HTML/CSS, and can deliver a great user experience in innovative ways across all major browsers.

 

The right candidate can ultimately play an integral role in our application design and development process.

 

Required skills:

  • 3+ years of HTML/CSS development experience

Senior PHP Developer

This is a hands-on software development position, encompassing multiple distinct yet integrated product solutions in a LAMP environment.  In this role, you will support the continuing design and development of a multi-tiered web based software platform.  You should be familiar with development of complex distributed systems leveraging web services and have knowledge of standard usability and human machine interface practices.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the design and development of software to meet business requirements in a highly participatory process.
  • Implement web application functionality as necessary to meet requirements.
  • Provide documentation as required and participate in code reviews, planning sessions and routine status stand-ups.
  • Interface with the local open source community.

 

This position calls for a candidate with 7 years of extensive PHP development experience including at least 2 years of active Drupal development.

 

The following expertise is required for this position: 

  • 7+ years PHP application design and development
  • 2+ years building custome Drupal modules and themes
  • Strong XML, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX and web services LAMP based development and operating environment experience
  • Web services integration utilizing REST and SOAP APIs

Business Systems Analyst

This is a terrific position for a junior business systems analyst looking to expand their skill set and take on additional responsibility. 


The candidate should have experience translating customer needs into product requirements and supporting all facets of the software development lifecycle.  Ideally, they should also have an understanding of social collaboration and content management solutions and experience supporting agile software development.  Previous experience working with medical information systems, activity with online health care communities or an understanding of health related nomenclature and terminology is preferred.


This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 1 - 3 years of post college business experience.

 

Business System Analyst responsibilities will include:
 

  • Gathering business and functional requirements from clients
  • Preparing functional designs, wireframes and technical specifications
  • Working closely with the software development team
  • Preparing test plans & scripts and executing test cases
  • Developing training and product marketing materials, including graphics
  • Working closely with clients and partners to support system integration efforts
  • Providing system support and troubleshooting as needed

 

The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working on a product development team in a systems analyst or functional analyst role. Candidates should be self-sufficient, intuitive, and have the ability to react quickly in a highly dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to teamwork.

Marketing & Communications

The Marketing & Communications Intern is expected to contribute immediately, helping to expand our marketing strategy, promote our services and capabilities, and work directly with the product team. We're looking for someone excited by the inherent opportunities of social business, who understands the challenges involved in guiding the healthcare industry into the social world. 

 

This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and offers the opportunity for full-time employment following a successful internship. This is a great opportunity, not only to experience day-to-day life at a startup, but to have a front-row view of healthcare's entrance into the social age.

 

Our intern will learn about the biggest challenges to bringing social business to an existing enterprise, how to work with organizations all along the curve from eager and excited to embrace change to those hesitant and still clinging to the past. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Research, strategize, and implement new marketing initiatives to help grow the Ozmosis brand
  • Expand Ozmosis' social media presence by contributing to social media outlets   (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, etc)
  • Manage in-bound social media to track relevant news and highlight important items
  • Assist with writing the company blog – including research, content creation, blog management, and promotion
  • Perform beta testing and deliver feedback to the product team
  • Help define requirements for new product offerings
  • Help maintain and expand our marketing database
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify key differentiators in the product and service offerings

 

Qualifications and Experience:
