New Media Meetup at HIMSS 2011

Ozmosis is heading to Disney World…or rather the annual HIMSS HealthIT Conference being held in Orlando, FL, from February 20-24.  So whether you're a clinical informatics leader, hospital administrator, health care professional, or a Health IT vendor, we look forward to seeing you at the New Media Meetup we’re co-sponsoring at HIMSS.

This year's conference is going to be packed full of news on the intersection of social and health IT, so watch this blog, our Twitter feed, and our Facebook page for information on can't miss events and the latest insights.  We're also excited to share our latest product news with the Health IT world in Orlando. For starters, we're co-sponsoring the 2nd annual New Media Meetup, on Tuesday, February 22 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. 

Given the growing role social business and new media is playing in healthcare, this event is a great opportunity to mingle.  You never know who you might meet or what you might learn.  The meetup is organized by the EMR and HIPAA blog and will be located in MEDecision's booth on the HIMSS floor - #2563.  In addition to hosting all of us, MEDecision has been kind enough to cater the event - i.e, they're providing free food and drinks.  

We'll be raffling off some cool giveaways, including an iPad, and we may even demo the newest version of OzmosisESP, our social powered knowledge management platform, if there's interest.  So whether you're already a new media maven or just interested in learning more about how you or your organization can benefit from the power of social collaboration, we invite you to register for the meetup and join us.
